So our saga begins on March 2nd. Lance, Clay and I brave the Charlotte snow to go see Alice in Chains. It’s rain or shine at the Fillmore. Well it was cancelled. We braved the snow for nothing. We struggle to find the last motel with a room in North Carolina, get a cab and crash. The show is rescheduled for April 20th at the Music Factory.

So last Tuesday we got together and had our pre-show ritual beers and get ready to see a great show. Little do we know that the Music Factory is an outdoor venue and it’s raining like a bitch. So after walking 10 blocks from the bar to the Music Factory in the rain, we had to stand in it for 2 more hours. That being said; the music was off the chain. The new singer pulls it off. And Clay is right; there is something about hearing “Rain When I Die” in a downpour. Here is the setlist:
