I had a random thought on liberal philosophy. Liberals believe that after a "big bang", where a big cloud of atoms exploded that a random sequence of events happened. They believe that this sequence of events led to the creation of the universe. They believe that over 300 million years random mutations on earth led to millions of changes and through evolution the changes that produced the more desired result were kept because the organisms with this result were more successful at surviving. But I digress. This rant isn't about evolution.
They believe that all of this happened through completely random transactions unencumbered by by a greater outside force. To them life was created through random occurrences with no direction and the universe sorted it out. Yet, they believe that something as insignificant (relative to the universe) as a capitalist economy can not do the same thing. They believe that millions of people making decisions based on their best interests can't create a successful economy without an omniscient government interfering. Our lives, the universe, and millions of galaxies were created without supervision but an economy requires it.
